I hold a PhD in English from University College Cork (Ireland), where my research project was fully funded by an Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship. Before joining Tunghai University, I was a MSCA postdoctoral fellow at KU Leuven (Belgium) and a postdoctoral researcher at Academia Sinica (Taiwan). I am interested in Irish studies, modernism(s), and periodical studies. I am currently working on a project that investigates Irish writers' connections with The New Yorker magazine in the mid-20th century.
