Zaria is a comic book artist and illustrator. She graduated from The Center for Cartoon Studies with a Master's in Fine Arts and from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's in Arts & Humanities and a minor in Comic Art and Graphic Novels.
She has both written and illustrated for three different comic books. They are currently available in Michigan State University's Library Comic Art Collection, a university special collection open to the public. She has many other comics that she has self-published.
Her work consists of character design, comic book making, and illustrations, primarily featuring African-American youths as the main protagonists. She loves to make comics that relate to young readers so they can see themselves represented in media. She creates stories and pictures that will put a smile on anyone's saddest days.
