Responsibilities:
1) Resin Cast Molds: Mold for Current Transformer & Potential Transformer, Insulators, LBS, etc.
2) Gravity Cast Mold: Secondary round terminal mold for CT.
3) Plastic Injection molds. (Example: Molds of BBT products)
4) Bending die design for lighting BBT, Electric fan.
5) Distribution Box design using sheet metal in Solidworks.
6) Jigs & Fixture design.
7) ISO 9001, 14001 maintain.
8) Quality assurance of mold casting products.
Used software:
Solidworks (for 3D design, flow simulation, mold design, Sheet metal design)
Ansys fluent (For flow simulation)
Machine Expertise:
1) HAAS VF6 and VF2 CNC machine.
2) Zortrax M300 Plus 3D printer.
3) Calibry 3D scanner.
4) CNC lathe Machine
5) Heat Treatment Machine.
6) Rockwell Hardness test machine.
7) Drilling, Shaper, Milling machines.
Industrial Training
I have been sent to Urea Fertilizer Factory Ltd. for 1-month industrial training from the Mechanical department of BUET in January 2020.
I visited and learned different mechanisms and components from every department of this factory-like Machinery and solid handling, Central machinery workshop, Power plant, Electrical maintenance section, Ammonia section, Urea section and Bagging, Utility and Water treatment, Laboratory and Fire safety, Business and Administration section.
During my visit period, one of the gas turbines was tripped. They disassembled the gas turbine to fix. It was my fortune to observe a real gas turbine closely and understand its mechanism.
Class Representative
I was one of the class representatives in my class. It's been 4 years since I had been managing class schedules, building a bridge between teachers and students.
My classmate always stays comfortable with my decisions as well as our teachers.
I feel proud to be a part of this class.
Buet Nuclear Club
Treasurer at Buet Nuclear Club:
Among all the processes of generating power, I find my core interest in the Nuclear power plant.
I attended some conferences on Nuclear power plant and their safety.
