Yeasha Sobhan is the vice chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG) and Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd., which has become one of the fastest-growing parts of the Group’s business. She has worked consistently to expand the division’s product range, adding more paper, tissue, and hygiene products. As part of the executive leadership team in Bangladesh’s largest conglomerate, she has earned respect as a female leader who has guided steady development.

As the leader of Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited, she has advanced the company’s commitment to responsible production. The company has earned ISO 9001:2015 and FSC-CoC certifications, reflecting its commitment to high standards in Bangladesh’s paper sector.
She has also led process improvements that combine strong output with environmental care. Under her leadership, the company has become a trusted supplier for the Bangladesh government, meeting large-scale paper needs responsibly.
Yeasha has been directly involved in building awareness of the Group’s paper and hygiene brands. She has played a key role in planning, budgeting, and reviewing marketing efforts, encompassing social media and media relations. These efforts have developed trusted brands like Bashundhara Baby Diaper, Bashundhara Tissue and Paper, and Monalisa Sanitary Napkins.
The company also produces exercise books to help students and adults learn mathematics, Bangla, and English. Her oversight has supported educational resources that reach people nationwide.
She was honored in 2018 at a ceremony in the capital, where she was named among twelve women out of sixty-four nominees to receive the Bangladesh Women Leadership Excellence Award for her leadership and service to the community.
Under the leadership of Yeasha Sobhan, the Bashundhara Special Children Foundation has continued to grow.
