This Privacy Policy explains how YearMoji ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the YearMoji mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy matters to us, and we have built YearMoji to keep your information on your own device.

The short version

YearMoji does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. Everything you create in the App — the emojis, notes, and dates you add to your year grid — stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no ads. We cannot see your data, and neither can anyone else through us.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information.

YearMoji works entirely on your device. When you use the App, the following information is created and stored locally on your device only:

• The emojis you add to specific days

• The short notes you optionally attach to a day

• The dates you mark

This information is never sent to us or to any third party. We have no ability to access it.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

How your information is stored

All of your entries are stored locally on your device using standard system storage. Because the data lives only on your device:

• We cannot read, back up, or recover it.

• If you delete the App, your entries stored on the device are deleted with it.

• We are not able to restore data that is lost, for example if you delete the App or lose your device.

We recommend exporting your grid (see below) if you want to keep a copy.

Exporting and sharing

YearMoji lets you export your year grid as an image or PDF and share it using your device's standard share options.

When you choose to export or share, you decide where that file goes — for example saving it to Files, printing it, or sending it through another app. Any app or service you send it to is governed by that app's or service's own privacy policy, not this one. We are not involved in and do not receive a copy of anything you export or share.

The home screen widget

The YearMoji widget displays your year grid, including your emojis, on your home screen. The widget reads your entries directly from your device to show them. This information does not leave your device, and we do not receive it.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

YearMoji contains:

• No analytics or usage tracking

• No third-party trackers or SDKs that collect data

• No advertising and no ad networks

We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build any profile about you.

Third-party services

We do not use third-party services that collect your personal information within the App.

Please note that YearMoji is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information related to your download, purchase, and use of apps in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. That collection is controlled by Apple, not by us, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Children's privacy

YearMoji does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and because we collect no data, no personal information from children is gathered by us.

Your rights and choices

Because your data stays on your device and we do not collect it, you remain in full control of your information at all times. You can:

• Edit or delete any individual entry within the App.

• Delete all of your data by removing the App from your device.

• Keep a copy by exporting your grid as an image or PDF.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Economic Area or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in California. Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data about you, we do not hold any information to access, correct, delete, or port. Data security

Your entries are stored on your device and protected by your device's own security features, such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Because we never receive your data, there is no copy of it on any server we control that could be exposed. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

International users

YearMoji processes information only on your device, wherever you are located. We do not transfer your personal data across borders because we do not collect it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Significant changes may also be reflected in the App or its App Store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
