Finding factors
Let's find the complete set of factors for the below numbers.
a. 12
b. 35
Remember that factors will always be equal to or smaller than the number in question!
a. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
1 x 12 = 12
2 x 6 = 12
3 x 4 = 12
b. 1, 5, 7, 35
1 x 35 = 35
5 x 7 = 35
Finding multiples
Let's find the first six multiples for the below numbers.
a. 3
b. 25
Remember that multiples will always be equal to larger than the number in question!
a. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18...
b. 25, 50, 75, 100, 125...
