We all have some very important responsibilities to ensure everyone feels safe and happy during class.
These include ensuring that we all...
Come to class on time, in proper uniform, ready to learn, with our workbooks, pencil case, calculator and textbook.
Complete all set homework to the best of your ability. As long as you have genuinely tried you have done your best.
Behave in a way which does not disrupt the learning of others or prevent you from learning.
Leave our mobile phones outside of the classroom.
Take self-responsibility for your learning and behaviour and ask for help when needed.
You find out about and catch up on work missed if you are absent.
Be kind, help one another, ask questions, put your hand up to ask a question.
Behaviour Management
We all have bad days, however ...
If you are preventing yourself and others from learning you will be given a verbal warning.
If you continue to distract others learning you will be moved to another seat and given a detention.
Should the behaviour continue, it will be reported to the Head of Mathematics and your Head of House and a call will be made home to your parents or carers to discuss this.
Homework
Completing homework is compulsory.
Homework will be based on the questions completed from your tick sheets.
Homework will be checked.
If you choose not to complete it, you will need to accept the consequences (detention to complete it).
Repeat offenders will have their parents contacted (so it is probably just easier to get it done right?).
