Hi, I'm Seun Awodiji, a primary math expert and an experienced educator. I have a B.Sc(Ed) mathematics and a masters degree in education.
Having taught at the best international schools in Lagos for 14 years, I am now in the phase of impacting on learner outcomes from outside my classroom.
I have spent the last few years researching about the best ways for children to stay immersed in maths and I am glad to share.
The aim of the Year 6 maths club is to help children going into Year 6 in September 2025 master all the concepts needed to pass their exams seamlessly in a relaxed and effective way. We are starting early to eliminate the rush and anxiety that comes with Year 6 exams and so we can eliminate all misconceptions and strengthen most weak areas before Year 6 starts in September.
In addition, I aim to create an atmosphere of fun for the children and demystify maths for them. Having taught maths for over 10 years, I can confidently say that I know what works and what doesn't when teaching maths.
