If you want a corded, Teams-certified headset built for all-day desk work with a visible do-not-disturb signal, choose Yealink UH37; if you need to walk away from your desk and take calls wirelessly across your computer and phone, choose Logitech Zone 300.
• Yealink UH37 — biggest strength: A wired USB-C/USB-A connection that works instantly with PC, Mac, tablet, laptop and Android phone, plus a built-in busylight that tells coworkers you're on a call.
• Yealink UH37 — biggest trade-off: It's wired, so you're tethered to your device; there's no battery, but there's also no freedom to roam.
• Logitech Zone 300 — biggest strength: Bluetooth 5.1 wireless freedom with up to a 30 m (98 ft) range and up to 16 hours of talk time, so you can move between your computer and phone without unplugging anything.
• Logitech Zone 300 — biggest trade-off: It's not certified for Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, so call controls and mute sync with those platforms aren't available the way they are on Logitech's certified models.
• Who the Yealink UH37 is for: The desk-bound worker — call center agents, remote staff, students and anyone who lives in back-to-back calls at one workstation.
• Who the Logitech Zone 300 is for: The mover — hybrid workers who pace during calls, switch between laptop and phone, and hate being tied down by a cable.
The UH37 is a stereo, on-ear wired headset that plugs straight into a USB port. That sounds basic, but it's exactly the point. There's no pairing, no charging, no "is it connected?" moment before a meeting — you plug in and you're live. Yealink builds it for the kind of person who takes call after call at the same desk: call center agents, support reps, remote employees, webinar hosts, online tutors and students working through language or dictation software.
The spec that matters most here is comfort. At roughly 5 oz (about 142 g), it's genuinely light, and Yealink designed the headband to adjust to different head shapes. The ear cushions are soft faux leather and sit on the ear rather than clamping around it, which is the right call if you're wearing a headset for a full shift. If your headset gives you a headache by 3 p.m., this is the category of design that fixes it.
Audio-wise, the UH37 uses a 35 mm dynamic driver with a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency range and dynamic EQ that flips automatically between call mode and music mode. In call mode you get speech-forward, natural sound; in music mode it opens up. That dual personality is a real convenience if you listen to music between meetings and don't want to swap headsets.
Who should skip it? Anyone who needs to leave their desk mid-call. The UH37 is wired, full stop. If your workday involves walking to the kitchen, pacing the hallway or taking a call on your phone across the room, a cable will annoy you fast. Also skip it if you're locked into a non-USB device — the connection is USB, so a legacy 3.5 mm-only setup won't work.
Logitech Zone 300: Who It's For
The Zone 300 is Logitech's budget-friendly wireless entry: a Bluetooth 5.1 on-ear headset in off-white with a 30 mm dynamic driver, a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz range and a claimed wireless range of up to 30 m (98 ft). That range figure is the headline. You can leave your laptop on the desk, walk to the printer, grab coffee, and keep talking. For hybrid workers who take calls from a home office and constantly bounce between a computer and a phone, that's a workflow change, not just a spec.
Battery life is the other pillar: up to 20 hours of listening and up to 16 hours of talk time on a full charge, with a 2-hour charge time and a quick-charge top-up that adds up to an hour of talk time in about 5 minutes. A 5-minute charge before a meeting you forgot about is a genuinely useful safety net.
On audio, the Zone 300 pairs dual beamforming mics on an extended boom with noise-canceling algorithms aimed at suppressing background noise in homes and shared spaces. Logitech also lists active noise cancellation as a control feature, and you get the free LogiTune app to adjust sidetone, mic level and EQ, plus firmware updates. If the mic sounds off, LogiTune is where you fix it — that's the designed troubleshooting path.
Comfort is solid: 122 g (4.3 oz), enlarged earpads and a padded headband, all pointed at all-day wear. Lighter than the Yealink on paper.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for wired reliability and zero setup → Yealink UH37. Plug into USB and you're on. No pairing, no charging.
• Best for wireless freedom and range → Logitech Zone 300. Bluetooth 5.1 with up to 30 m (98 ft) of range and seamless switching between computer and phone.
• Best for all-day battery life → Logitech Zone 300. Up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 20 hours of listening, with a quick charge.
• Best for Teams/Zoom/Meet call controls → Yealink UH37. It's Teams certified and Zoom certified; the Zone 300 is not certified for those platforms.
• Best for blocking interruptions at your desk → Yealink UH37. The automatic busylight is a real workspace tool.
• Best for lighter weight → Logitech Zone 300. 122 g (4.3 oz) versus roughly 5 oz (about 142 g) — both are light, but Logitech edges it.
• Best for device flexibility on a wire → Yealink UH37. USB works across PC, Mac, tablet, laptop and Android phone.
• Best for tuning your own sound → Logitech Zone 300. The LogiTune app lets you adjust sidetone, mic level and EQ.
• Best for mixed call-and-music listening on a wire → Yealink UH37. Dynamic EQ switches between call mode and music mode automatically.
In my opinion, the Yealink UH37 is the safer buy for most people shopping in this bracket. If your calls happen at a desk — which is true for the majority of call center, support, teaching and remote-office work — wired is not a limitation, it's one less thing to manage, and the Teams/Zoom certification plus the busylight are concrete advantages the Zone 300 simply doesn't match.
I'd pick the Logitech Zone 300 only if mobility is the whole point for you: you're on the move, you switch between laptop and phone constantly, and you'd rather have 30 m of range than a cable. Just go in knowing you're giving up meeting-platform certification to get it.

The Yealink UH37. It's certified for Teams and Zoom, so it's designed to work cleanly with those platforms. Logitech states the Zone 300 works with Teams, Google Meet and Zoom, but call controls and mute sync with those platforms are only available on the Zone 305.
The Zone 300 has a battery at all — up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 20 hours of listening, with a quick charge. The UH37 is wired, so it draws power over USB and never needs charging. If you want battery figures, the Zone 300 is the only one of the two that has them.
Yes — that's one of its strengths. Bluetooth 5.1 lets it switch seamlessly between computer and phone, with a wireless range of up to 30 m (98 ft). The Yealink UH37 is USB-only, so it stays with whatever device it's plugged into.
Both are built for long wear. The Zone 300 is lighter at 122 g (4.3 oz) with enlarged earpads and a padded headband; the UH37 is about 5 oz with soft faux leather cushions and an adjustable headband. In my opinion the difference is small — the bigger factor is whether you want a cable on your desk all day.
