Dr. YC Huang

Welcome to my webpage!

I am Dr. Yen-Chang Huang, Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu city, Taiwan.

My research lies in differential geometry, with a particular focus on geometric analysis. I study the deep structures and invariants of Riemannian manifolds, and in recent years, my work has extended to integral geometry in CR manifolds—mathematical spaces that reveal rich and distinctive behaviors beyond the classical Riemannian setting. While much of my work is theoretical, I value the connections between mathematics and the real world. Some of my research has been applied to image processing and successfully transferred to industry, illustrating how abstract concepts can lead to practical solutions.

I am passionate about teaching and sharing the beauty of mathematics. Outside of work, I enjoy coffee (perhaps more than I should) and staying active through sports.
