Welcome to our research group!
We are passionate about the future of hydrogen (H₂) energy systems and primarily focus on research related to high-temperature energy conversion devices, including solid oxide electrochemical cells (SOFC/SOEC), protonic ceramic electrochemical cells (PCFC/EC), and reforming catalysts. With a strong emphasis on materials research, our work is driven by a fundamental understanding of key reactions, which guides the design of advanced materials. A major area of interest is the development of nanostructures and nanocatalysts that significantly enhance conversion efficiency.
We are currently recruiting graduate students (Master’s, Ph.D., or integrated Master’s-Ph.D.) to conduct research with us through the High-Temperature Electrolysis Research Lab at the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER School) or by enrolling in the University of Science and Technology (UST) graduate program. We welcome inquiries from those who are interested :)
