The Department of Mathematics of the University of Genova, aka DIMA, has some nice lecture and conference rooms, with modern equipment and the possibility of online streaming on different platforms.
DIMA has received from MUR the title of Department of Excellence for the period 2023-2027
The conference will take place in room 705 for the 30/11 and room 508 for the 01/12
How to reach the conference
By Plane
You can arrive in Genova from some European and extra-UE countries using the Genova City Airport. Otherwise you can also fly to airports in Milano, Pisa or Rome.
By Train
You can get to the Genova city center by train arriving in Brignole Station.
By Bus
From Brignole Station you can get to the Department using the bus line 45 (to Istituto Giannina Gaslini), or 86, or 87, and you have to stop and exit at "San Martino 2/ Papigliano". From there it is a 5/10 minutes walk (see at the bottom of the page for path). Otherwise, you can use the bus lines 16,17 or 17/, with the price of having to walk a little bit more.
Important note for people with walking impairment: due to a (slow) work in progress on a footbridge near the Department, we sadly have to announce that the only way for you to arrive at the conference is via car or taxi. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can reach out to us the organizers and we'll try to make your arrival at DIMA as smooth as possible.
