Biography

Yi-Cheng Chen received his Ph.D degree in the Department of Computer Science at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan, in 2012. Currently, he is a professor and chair of the Department of Information Management at National Central University (NCU), Taiwan. Dr. Chen has been active in international academic activities, as conference organizer, journal editor/reviewer. He published some papers in several prestigious conferences, such as IEEE ICDE, IEEE ICDM and ACM CIKM, and prestigious journals, e.g., IEEE TKDE, IEEE ToC, ACM TOIT and ACM TIST. Dr. Chen also  received several conference awards, such as IEEE ICSC 2017, FC 2017, IEEE UMedia 2017/2019 and IEEE ICSSE 2019. His research interests include: machine learning, Industry 4.0, social network analysis, data mining and cloud computing.
