YBC has always been about more than developing baseball players. It is a community where young people learn discipline, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and what it means to be park of something larger than themselves.
The YBC Family Fund grew from a simple belief: the lessons and relationships built through baseball should ocntinue to support our people when life becomes difficult
OUR WHY
A player may have the talent and commitment to keep growing, but face financial barriers at home. A family may experience illness, injury, job loss, or another crisis that changes everything overnight. A coach or alumnus who has poured into other may sddenly need the community to pour back into them. In these moments, we do what family does. We show up.
WHAT WE DO
The Fund turns community care into meaningful action through scholarships, emergency assistance, community support, events, partnerships and opportunities to give back.

The mission of the YBC Family Fund is to strengthen the baseball community by providing meaningful support to players and coaches facing financial hardship and life's unexpected challenges.
Through scholarships, emergency assistance, and community programming, we help ensure that players and coaches have the opportunity to remain connected to the field, continue their development, and prusue their goals while knowing they are supporting by a community that stands together like family.

Family First
We stand behind our players, parents, coaches, and alumni as more than members of an organization. We are a baseball family. When one of our own is facing illness, injury, financial hardship, job loss, or a personal crisis, we show up with compassion, practical support, and the reminder that no family has to carry the weight alone.
Resilience
The path to becoming a great player, and raising, coaching, and supporting one, is rarely easy. We value grit, perseverance, and the willingness to keep moving forward through setbacks. Our role is to provide a hand when life becomes heavy so that hardship does not have to end a player’s opportunity.
Opportunity
Talent and dedication should not be limited by financial circumstances or unexpected challenges at home. We work to keep players on the field by helping with costs such as equipment, travel, training, and participation, while also supporting families during times of crisis. Every athlete deserves the chance to pursue their goals.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The YBC Family Fund is guieded by leaders who believe in the power of baseball, the responsibility of community, and the importance of thoughtful nonprofit stewardship.
Our Board of Directors helps protect the mission, oversee the organization's resources, strengthen accountability and ensure that the Fund's decisions remain centered on our players, coaches and the familes we serve.
