About me 

Dance has always been part of me.  As a little girl, my parents recall that I would dance in our living room, asking them to stop and watch the mini concerts that I had coordinated for them. Although I never grew up in a dance studio or had any professional training in dance until my high school years, I have always found myself dancing as I grew up; constantly enjoying how dancing makes me feel. 

My dance training started when I entered the Maryvale Dance Program when I was a freshman in High school. As I progressed through life, so did my love and interest in dance. My journey through the Maryvale Dance Program helped me achieve increased confidence, self-expression, and offered me a way to work with and meet new amazing people that I'm glad to call my friends.

Although I am sad that my time in Maryvale has ended, I am still excited for my future! In the future I know that my time here in the Maryvale Dance Program will forever be part of me. I am very grateful for the amazing opportunities this program has offered me. I am truly blessed for all the people I met throughout this journey and I will continue to dance my life away!

CAPSTONE

Here is a dance film I created for the 2022 Maryvale Fall Dance Company Concert. This film was inspired as a message to myself to always remember my roots and was created as a tribute to my journey and growth as a person. Hope you enjoy it!
