Sea Moss Gel can be added to smoothies, favourite juices, used in cooking, face masks and other beauty products.
How to make Sea Moss Gel
Wash dried Sea Moss thoroughly in cold water with cut limes, looking for any debris and rinse.
Place washed Sea Moss in a large bowl, with water (of your choice) and cut limes.
Make sure bowl is larger than the volume of Sea Moss used as Sea Moss will expand once Sea Moss has soaked.
Cover the bowl and leave in fridge overnight.
Drain off water, rinse again, now Sea Moss is ready to blend.
Add soaked Sea Moss into a blender with a little water and a squeeze of lime or lemon. Blend until the consistency is suitable for you.
Pour into tight glass jars, cover and store.
(Please note: Sea Moss Gel can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 weeks in a tight container or frozen in ice cube trays to be used when required for up to 3 months).
