If you want a rugged, expandable storage solution with tactical MOLLE webbing for heavy-duty hunting gear, choose Yawayda Automotive Gun Racks; if you need a compact, foldable system that packs away neatly in your vehicle during the rainy season, choose Cokacot Seat Back Gun.
• Yawayda: Built from heavy-duty 900D nylon Oxford fabric with a massive MOLLE panel and offset design for full-size trucks; it is bulkier and lacks a foldable mechanism for off-season storage.
• Cokacot: Constructed from durable 800D oxford fabric with a clever foldable design and hanging baskets; it offers less surface area for extra attachments compared to the Yawayda model.
• The Verdict: Pick Yawayda if you are a serious hunter who needs maximum organization and durability for long trips. Pick Cokacot if you prioritize space-saving convenience and a smaller footprint for daily driving.
The Yawayda Automotive Gun Racks is engineered for the dedicated outdoorsman who treats their vehicle as a mobile command center. The standout feature here is the robust construction using 900D nylon Oxford fabric. This material specification tells me immediately that this rack is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions without fraying or tearing, making it ideal for the grit of deer and duck hunting expeditions where gear gets bumped, dragged, and exposed to the elements. The offset gun rack design specifically accommodates different length firearms, ensuring that whether you have a short carbine or a full-length shotgun, the horizontal holder fits securely on the back of a truck seat without slipping.
What truly sets this product apart is the sheer versatility of its storage ecosystem. Beyond the main rifle loops, it features two bottom pockets and an extensive tactical MOLLE panel system on the sides. This isn't just about holding a gun; it is about organizing the entire kit. You can attach additional pouches directly to the webbing or hang small items like reloading tools, ammo boxes, or even a water bottle right where you can reach them. The dual loops ensure your primary gear stays secure, while the expandable nature of the MOLLE straps means the organizer grows with your needs. If you carry a lot of accessories beyond just the firearm itself, this unit provides a level of customization that generic racks simply cannot match.
However, this power comes with a trade-off regarding size and flexibility. It does not fold up. Once installed, it occupies a significant amount of vertical space on the rear seat. While the adjustable straps allow for easy installation across most car seats, pickups, and SUVs, the lack of a folding mechanism means you must leave it mounted year-round or find a large storage spot when not in use. It is designed for utility over portability, making it the perfect choice for hunters who spend their weekends in the field but might be frustrated by its permanent presence in the cabin during the off-season.

The Cokacot Seat Back Gun is tailored for the driver who values simplicity, space efficiency, and ease of use above all else. Made from 800D oxford fabric, it offers a solid balance of durability and strength, capable of withstanding wear and tear over time without the excessive bulk of heavier materials. The defining characteristic of this product is its foldable design. Each pack is engineered to collapse when not in use, which solves the perennial problem of bulky gun racks cluttering your vehicle when you aren't hunting. This feature makes it particularly practical for those who use their truck or SUV for daily commuting and only occasionally venture out for shooting or hunting trips.
In terms of capacity, the Cokacot focuses on the essentials. Each pack includes two pockets and two hanging baskets designed specifically for rifles, shotguns, or similar firearms. The dimensions of 7.76 inches in width and 20.87 inches in height provide a "perfect size" fit for standard car seat backs, ensuring the rack sits flush against the upholstery without interfering with headrests or legroom. The installation process is equally streamlined, requiring no extra tools—just hanging the straps across the headrests and securing the elastic ropes to the bottom of the seat. This allows you to set it up or take it down in a few minutes, offering a level of convenience that appeals to casual users or those who prefer a tidy interior when the guns are put away.
While the 800D fabric is tough, it is slightly lighter than the 900D used by the competitor, reflecting its focus on a more streamlined build. The design also omits the extensive external webbing found on other models, meaning you have fewer options for attaching third-party pouches or expanding the storage footprint. However, for many buyers, this is a feature, not a bug. The absence of loose straps and extra panels keeps the profile clean and prevents snagging on clothing or other items. It is an excellent choice for hunters who want a secure, reliable place for their firearms but do not need a fully modular tactical station. It fits most vehicles, including pickups and UVS, making it a versatile option for anyone looking to keep their gear accessible without sacrificing interior space.

After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would personally buy the Yawayda Automotive Gun Racks for my primary hunting setup. The 900D nylon construction and the tactical MOLLE system offer a level of ruggedness and organization that I simply cannot get elsewhere, especially when dealing with wet, muddy, or chaotic field conditions. While the Cokacot is undeniably convenient for its foldable nature, the Yawayda feels like a more permanent, purpose-built solution for serious outings. That said, if you are strictly preparing for the rainy season and need something that won't mold or take up space in a damp garage, the Cokacot's foldable design becomes the smarter pragmatic choice. For me, however, the ability to customize my gear loadout and trust in the heavy-duty fabric outweighs the convenience of folding it up.
Yes, both products utilize high-density oxford fabrics designed to withstand harsh conditions. The Yawayda specifically notes it is built to endure outdoor elements, while the Cokacot is made to resist wear and tear, making both viable for wet weather hunting trips.
No, neither product requires special tools. Both systems rely on adjustable straps that hang over the headrests and secure via elastic ropes or buckles, allowing for a tool-free installation that takes just a few minutes.
The Yawayda Automotive Gun Racks offers significantly more storage potential due to its tactical MOLLE webbing system and multiple pockets, allowing you to attach extra pouches. The Cokacot provides basic pockets but lacks the expandable attachment points of the Yawayda.
The Cokacot Seat Back Gun is explicitly designed with a foldable mechanism, making it easy to tuck into a trunk or storage bag. The Yawayda is a fixed-size unit that remains rigid, so you would need to find a dedicated space for it rather than folding it down.
