I am a PhD candidate in the European Doctorate in Law and Economics (EDLE), jointly affiliated with the University of Bologna, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the University of Hamburg (2022–2026). I work under the supervision of Carmine Guerriero (https://sites.google.com/view/carmineguerrierohomepage/home-page) and Franziska Weber (https://www.eur.nl/en/people/franziska-weber). My research is in historical political economy and law & economics, focusing on how property-rights regimes and kinship institutions shape incentives and development outcomes. My earlier work includes projects on applied development and policy topics such as remittances and financial inclusion, trust, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
I am also part of the Origins Project: https://www.origins-project.com/home-page
