YouAreSafe (YAS) is committed to your privacy. This policy explains how our mobile application handles your data.
We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers.
Local Storage: All your personal settings, name, and wellbeing streaks are stored locally on your device using encrypted/secure storage mechanisms.
Anonymous Community: Posts shared to the community are stored in a secure database (Supabase), but they are not linked to your real identity unless you choose to provide it in the text.
AI Companion: Conversations with the AI Companion are processed in real-time and are not stored or used for training.
Supabase: Used for the community feed.
Google Play Services: Used for app distribution and basic analytics (if enabled by your device).
Url Launcher: Used for emergency calling.
Since your data is stored locally, you can delete all your data by simply uninstalling the app or clearing the app cache in your device settings.

Be kind and supportive.
Strictly Prohibited: Do not post sexual content, pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit language. Apps containing such User-Generated Content (UGC) are strictly forbidden and users will be banned.
Avoid political, religious, or divisive content.
Never share personal identifying information of yourself or others.
Understand that posts may be moderated or removed if they violate safety standards.
Reporting & Blocking: You have the right and duty to report offensive content and block abusive users using the in-app tools.
The developers of YouAreSafe are not liable for any decisions made based on the information provided in the app. Use of the app is at your own risk.
