All my workshops are maximum 2 pax.
As space in my unit is limited, please inform me if additional pax will be sitting in.
Crochet requires and helps improve dexterity and hand-eye coordination. There is sewing involved, and knowing how to tie knots/ribbons is an added advantage.
Crocheting also trains patience and calms the mind, where you need to focus on counting and the hand movements to do the stitches, promoting mindfulness and helping you to forget the rest of the world and your troubles (hopefully).
/!\ Managing expectations: students may or may not be able to crochet a complete plushie on their own after just one workshop/session. Guidance is still required, with continued practice, should they wish to become an independent crocheter. This is true for my adult students, and even more so for younger children. More teacher-assisted sessions are recommended to really get the hang of everything, with the lowest levels of frustration.
Extra-note for younger learners: I encourage parents (or grandparents!) to sit-in while your child learns crochet. You are welcome to learn crochet theory with us, and I will also provide extra information about materials shopping, how to search for patterns or videos, how/where to seek crochet help; things that only an adult can do.
You are free to listen, watch and DIY with your own tools and materials.
Charges will apply for practical hands-on assistance.

An in-depth 1-to-1 crochet lesson for absolute beginners!
You will learn the basic stitches, how to read written patterns and understand crochet diagrams and symbols. You will also learn some theory about yarns and crochet hook sizes and materials.
You will make 2 pieces: a flat piece of various stitches, and a basic round plushie ball.
All materials provided.
Kit contains: Sample patterns, one crochet hook, yarn, stitch markers, a large-eye needle, safety eyes, and some polyester stuffing.
Recommended: bring your own sewing scissors and writing materials.
Note: Level 1 workshop can be upgraded to the Two-day Amigurumi BumbleBee Workshop with a top-up of the necessary amount.

A 1-to-1, 2-day workshop of Level 1 Foundation and Level 2 Amigurumi Bumble Bee.
In day 1: You will learn the basic stitches, how to read written patterns, crochet diagrams and symbols. You will make a flat practice piece, and the beginning of your bumble bee.
Take home your work to continue the bee body.
In day 2: You will finish up your bumble bee plushie, with wings!
How long: best arrangement is 4 hours each day.
You will be provided with TWO kits:
Kit 1: Sample patterns, a crochet hook, practice yarn, stitch markers, a large-eye needle.
Kit 2: Bumble Bee pattern instructions, yarn for your bee, safety eyes, and polyester stuffing.

This is a 4-hour workshop for absolute beginners with no crochet experience.
Learn some amigurumi techniques and make some Mandarin Orange plushies!
Great for 2 pax; each make 1 orange to complete a pair!
You will learn: the basic stitches and how to read written patterns.
You will make: at least 1 mandarin orange plushie.
How long: 4 hours.
Additional: $10 per hour extension
This class does NOT teach in-depth crochet theory, compared to the Foundation workshop.
You will learn how to do the crochet stitches and the relevant theory to complete an orange plush.
Each person will be provided with ONE kit containing:-
1 ready-made beginning part of the orange;
1 ready-made leaf;
the relevant yarns;
the pattern instructions;
polyester stuffing.
Keychain can be attached to your finished oranges.
On loan: 1 crochet hook, stitch markers, a large-eye needle, scissors (to be returned at the end of the session).
