My research interests lie in interdisciplinary modeling and analysis of complex systems for process monitoring and control, system diagnostics and prognostics, quality and reliability improvement, operations management and performance optimization, with applications in healthcare and manufacturing:

  • Markov decision process and sequential decision making
  • Biomedical and health informatics
  • Sensor-based modeling and control of additive manufacturing
