HiveX Privacy Policy

HiveX is a daily utility app that provides tools such as calculators, planners, converters, running tracker, map-based route tracking, and toss simulation tools.
Information We Collect
HiveX does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or contacts.
Some tools may use information you enter locally on your device for calculation purposes, such as age, budget values, financial values, health-related inputs, unit values, or running details. This information is not sold or shared by us.
Location Data
HIveX may request location permission for the Running Tracker feature. Location data is used to calculate running distance, speed, pace, route path, GPS accuracy, and related running statistics.
When you start the Running Tracker, HiveX may use a foreground service and ongoing notification so tracking can continue while the app is in the background. Location data used for running tracking is processed for this feature and may be stored locally on your device as part of your running history.
HiveX does not sell your location data.
Internet Access
HiveX may use internet access for features such as live currency exchange rates and map tiles for route display. When these features are used, requests may be made to third-party services to fetch current data.
Third-Party Services
YantriX may use third-party services or APIs, including currency exchange rate providers and map tile providers such as OpenStreetMap-related services. These services may receive technical request data such as IP address, device/browser request metadata, requested currency pairs, or map tile requests as needed to return results.
Local Data Storage
HiveX may store app settings, pinned tools, theme preferences, running history, route points, currency cache, and other tool values locally on your device to improve your experience. HiveX does not claim ownership of this locally stored data.
Sharing
Some features may allow you to share generated summaries, such as a running summary card. Sharing only happens when you choose to share. The selected content may be passed to apps or services you choose from your device share sheet.
Notifications
HiveX may show notifications for active features such as Running Tracker. These notifications may display running-related information such as duration, distance, speed, and controls like pause, resume, or stop.
Children’s Privacy
HiveX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Security
We aim to keep the app secure and minimize unnecessary data collection. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Choices
You can stop using the app at any time. You may disable permissions such as location or notifications from your device settings. You may also clear app data or uninstall the app to remove locally stored information from your device.
