Welcome to my homepage! 

I am a Tenure-track Associate Professor at the Institute of Natural Sciences and the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of California, Irvine, working with Prof. Katya Krupchyk in 2024-2025.

I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle, working with Prof. Gunther Uhlmann in 2020-2024. 

Before this, I obtained my Ph.D from Purdue University under the supervision of Prof. Plamen Stefanov. 

Research interest

My primary research interests are inverse problems arising in imaging sciences as well as in various areas of physics and engineering, including

• Inverse problems in Lorentzian manifolds.

• Inverse problems for nonlinear hyperbolic equations.

• Inverse problems arising in nonlinear acoustic imaging.

• Inverse problems for integral transforms arising in medical imaging.

• Rayleigh waves and Stonely waves in linear elasticity.
