NEMD 연구실은 RISE RRC의 지원을 받아 경상국립대학교 화학공학과 교수진 및 한국재료연구원(KIMS) 연구진과 함께 "우주 극한환경용 소재·소자·제조 개발 산학연 심포지엄"을 개최하였습니다.

이번 심포지엄은 우주항공 분야의 핵심 기술인 소재, 소자 및 제조 기술의 최신 연구 동향을 공유하고, 산·학·연 협력을 통한 공동연구 및 R&D 과제 발굴을 목적으로 마련되었습니다. 행사에는 메카티앤에스(MTES), 스페이스프로(SpacePro), 한국재료연구원(KIMS), 한국에너지기술연구원(KIER), 경상국립대학교(GNU) 등 산·학·연 기관에서 총 8명의 연사가 참여하여 우주 극한환경 대응 소재, 전자소자, 제조기술 및 관련 연구 성과를 발표하고 협력 방안을 논의하였습니다. 

The NEMD Lab, with support from the RISE RRC Program, hosted the “Industry–Academia–Research Symposium on the Development of Materials, Devices, and Manufacturing Technologies for Extreme Space Environments” in collaboration with faculty members from the Department of Chemical Engineering at GNU and researchers from the Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS).

The symposium was organized to share the latest research trends in materials, devices, and manufacturing technologies for the aerospace sector and to identify opportunities for collaborative research and future R&D projects through industry–academia–research cooperation. A total of eight speakers from MTES, SpacePro, KIMS, the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), and GNU participated in the event. They presented recent research achievements in materials, electronic devices, and manufacturing technologies for extreme space environments and discussed potential avenues for future collaboration.

이슈메이커(The Lab)에 NEMD 연구실이 "고안정·고효율 2차원 페로브스카이트 기반 우주용 태양전지 연구"를 주제로 소개되었습니다. 

The NEMD Laboratory was featured in The Lab section of Issue Maker magazine for its research on "highly stable and high-efficiency two-dimensional perovskite-based solar cells for space applications".

경상남도 RISE 산학공동기술개발과제 "한국 항공(KAI) 작업장 발생 유해 화학물질 검출을 위한 색변환 & 전기화학 센서 시스템 개발 및 설계"에 연구책임자로 선정되었습니다.

Dr. Yang has been selected as the principal investigator for the Gyeongsang Nam-do Province RISE Industry-Academia Joint Technology Development Project, titled "Development and Design of a Colorimetric & Electrochemical Sensor System for Detecting Hazardous Chemicals in Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) Worksites."

Dr. Yang receives NRF Excellent Young Researcher Program with a project titled "Thermally Robust Space-Grade Inorganic Perovskite Solar Cells via Interface and Additive Engineering"

Electronic Materials Letters 저널에서 굿리뷰어상을 수상하였습니다. 

Dr. Yang received the Good Reviewer Award from the journal Electronic Materials Letters.

한국화학공학회에서 "할라이드 페로브스카이트의 차원구조 설계를 통한 광전소자 개발" 주제로 신진 학술상을 수상하였습니다.  

Dr. Yang was awarded the Early Career Academic Award by the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers (KIChE) for his research titled "Development of Optoelectronic Devices through Dimensional Structure Engineering of Halide Perovskites".

Suzhou City University의 School of Optimal and Electronic Information 학과(초청교수 2분 포함)와 GNU 화학공학과 학과간의 국제 심포지엄에 다녀왔습니다. 앞으로도 연구적으로 활발한 교류 이어나갔으면 좋겠습니다. 

Dr. Yang attended an international symposium between the School of Optimal and Electronic Information at Suzhou City University (with two invited professors) and the Department of Chemical Engineering at GNU. We look forward to continued and active research collaboration between the two departments.

포닥 때 지도교수님이신 Letian Dou 교수님이 Sungkyun International Solar Forum (SISF) 초청발표로 한국에 방문하여 서울에서 만났습니다. Emory에서도 좋은 연구하시길 바랍니다. 

Prof. Letian Dou, my postdoctoral advisor, visted Korea for an invited talk at the SISF, and I had the pleasure of meeting him in Seoul. I wish him continued success in his excellent research at Emory University.

조길원 교수님 (지도교수님) 연구실 포항에서의 마지막 홈커밍을 다녀왔습니다. CRG의 마지막 해이자, NEMD의 새로운 한 해의 시작.

Dr. Yang attended the final homecoming event of his advisor, Prof. Kilwon Cho's research group in Pohang.  Last year of CRG and the beginning of a new year of NEMD.

한국유연인쇄전자학회에서 "이차원 페로브스카이트 구조 설계를 통한 광전자소자 개발" 주제로 우수 젊은 과학자 수상하였습니다.  

Dr. Yang was awarded the Young Scientist Award by Korea Flexible & Printed Electronics Society (KFPE) for his research titled "Development of Optoelectronic Devices through Structural Design of Two-Dimensional Perovskites"

Dr. Yang receives CSA Excellent Young Researcher Program of the Glocal University Project at GNU "Thermally stable triple-junction perovskite solar cells for extreme space environments"
