I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the School of Accountancy, Singapore Management University (SMU). I am now visiting the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
My research focuses on empirical financial accounting, with particular interests in macroeconomics and political economy. My recent work examines how the United States leverages trade as geoeconomic statecraft toward UN Security Council members, why certain US firms follow the flag, and how this affects their valuations.
I hold a B.Sc (2020) in Mathematics from Zhejiang University, China. I joined SMU in 2022 and received the Presidential Doctoral Fellowship in 2025.
