MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES AND TEACHING MATHS

I have distinguished myself in the field of educational mathematics through my innovative and impactful activities, prominently incorporating Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory. My work, characterized by a deep commitment to enhancing mathematical understanding and accessibility, employs a variety of pedagogical strategies tailored to engage different multiple intelligences among my students.

Central to my approach is the development and implementation of educational activities that transcend traditional numerical exercises. I integrate logical-mathematical intelligences with other forms, such as linguistic, spatial, and kinesthetic, offering a more holistic and engaging learning experience. This multifaceted approach not only caters to diverse learning styles but also fosters a deeper appreciation and understanding of mathematics as a discipline.

Since 2004, through my research and practice, I have effectively demonstrated how the application of Multiple Intelligences theory can transform the teaching and learning of mathematics. My activities often encourage students to explore mathematical concepts through real-world applications, collaborative projects, and technology integration, making mathematics more relatable and stimulating for learners with varied interests and abilities.

Moreover, my contributions extend beyond classroom teaching. I have actively disseminated my insights and methodologies through academic publications, workshops, and conferences, influencing a broader audience of educators to adopt more inclusive and innovative practices in mathematics education.

I belong to a group of educators who stand out as pioneering workers in education, embodying a forward-thinking approach to mathematics education. Our emphasis on leveraging Multiple Intelligences theory to enrich educational practices not only enhances students' mathematical competencies but also cultivates an environment where the potential of every learner is acknowledged and nurtured.
