If you want a rugged, wired studio reference tool for precise audio work, choose Yamaha HPH-MT8; if you need advanced wireless features like adaptive noise cancellation and 100-hour battery life for active use, choose Srhythm NiceComfort 95.
These two headphones occupy completely different worlds. One is built for the controlled silence of a mixing booth or a dedicated listening session, while the other is engineered for the chaos of daily commuting, travel, and even running. The Yamaha relies on passive isolation and high-quality cabling to deliver sound, whereas the Srhythm uses active technology and Bluetooth to create an immersive bubble. Choosing between them isn't about which sounds "better" in a vacuum, but rather which set of tools fits your specific lifestyle and activity requirements.
• Yamaha HPH-MT8: Delivers wide frequency range (15 Hz–28 kHz) and robust build quality with a 3-meter cable for studio accuracy; trade-off is the lack of wireless connectivity and no active noise cancellation.
• Srhythm NiceComfort 95: Offers adaptive noise cancellation, transparency mode, and an incredible 100-hour battery life with Bluetooth 6; trade-off is the reliance on battery power and a more complex feature set that may distract from pure sound fidelity.
• Who is this for? The Yamaha is for producers, engineers, and audiophiles who prioritize wired precision over convenience. The Srhythm is for commuters, gamers, and athletes seeking wireless freedom and environmental control.
The Yamaha HPH-MT8 is not designed to be a companion for your morning jog or a commute on a noisy subway. It is a tool for the studio, the home theater, and serious music listening where accuracy matters more than mobility. The design philosophy here centers on durability and isolation. You get a closed-back, circular design that provides excellent passive insulation, meaning it blocks out the world through physical engineering rather than electronic tricks. This makes it ideal for environments where you need to focus entirely on the mix or the nuances of a recording without digital interference.
What stands out most is the driver configuration and cable setup. The unit features 45 mm drivers with CCAW voice coils capable of reproducing frequencies from 15 Hz to 28 kHz. That low-frequency extension down to 15 Hz suggests a capability to handle deep bass without distortion, while the high end ensures clarity in the treble. The inclusion of both a 3-meter smooth cable and a 1.2-meter coiled cable gives you significant flexibility in how you position yourself relative to your source. If you are sitting at a mixing desk, the coiled cable keeps things tidy; if you need to move around the room, the long straight cable lets you roam without tugging on the connection.

Comfort is also a major consideration for long sessions. The synthetic leather ear pads and low-resistance cushions are specifically engineered to alleviate fatigue during extended wear. The three-dimensional swivel design allows the ear cups to adjust naturally to your head shape, ensuring a seal that enhances isolation without crushing pressure. However, this comes with a caveat: it is strictly wired. There is no Bluetooth, no battery, and no way to disconnect from the source. If you need to run errands, take a call while walking, or listen to music while working out, this product will not work for you. It demands a stationary setup and a reliable audio source connected via the 3.5 mm jack.
The Srhythm NiceComfort 95 is built for a mobile, dynamic life. If your day involves moving between a noisy office, a crowded train, and a park for exercise, this headphone is designed to adapt to those changing environments automatically. The standout feature here is the Adaptive Noise Cancelling system. Unlike fixed ANC modes that might be too aggressive or too weak, this system adjusts levels based on ambient noise. Whether you are dealing with the hum of an airplane engine, the rumble of a subway, or the buzz of an office air conditioner, it aims to block 95% of that distraction. This makes it a strong contender for anyone looking for the best noise cancelling gaming headphones for running or general outdoor activity where background noise is a constant factor.
Battery life is another area where this model dominates the conversation. With an average life of 100 hours, you are unlikely to worry about charging it for weeks, even with daily heavy use. A quick 10-minute charge can provide enough power for immediate use, which is a lifesaver when you forget to plug it in overnight. The wireless nature, powered by Bluetooth 6 with a 10-meter range, liberates you from cables. You can walk away from your phone or laptop without being tethered. Furthermore, the Transparency Mode is a critical safety feature. Instead of removing the headphones to hear a flight attendant or cross traffic, you can switch modes instantly to amplify surrounding sounds. This is essential for anyone using these as the best neckband headphones for running or any outdoor sport where situational awareness is non-negotiable.
The build quality reflects a premium aesthetic with a massive metal construction, featuring a polished aluminum metallic finish and stainless steel components. It feels substantial and durable, yet the weight is kept manageable at 264 grams. The 40 mm hybrid drivers support a frequency response up to 40 kHz, delivering what the manufacturer describes as studio-level clarity with thumping bass and sparkling treble. The inclusion of Spatial Audio with head tracking adds a cinematic dimension, making movies and games feel like they are happening around you. While the materials include leather and plastic, the overall impression is one of a modern, fashion-forward device meant to be seen and worn in public spaces.
