Welcome to the web-based registry of national government licensed guide-interpreters in Yamagata.
This website provides a listing of guide-interpreters licensed by the Japanese government in Yamagata. The site tells you where you can find them in Yamagata. Many guides also work as translators or interpreters specialized in various fields. Some of them offer lectures on local history, or hands-on training for volunteer guides. Find guide-interpreters who meet your needs.
The list is sorted alphabetically by the first names of tour guides in each geographic area within Yamagata Prefecture. The list includes guides who are unable to accept any paid work due to the employment contract with their current employer. If you do not know whom to contact, just contact any of the listed guides in your neighborhood, who will direct you to the right person.
