YallaDabka emerged from a deep passion for preserving and sharing the rich tradition of Dabke, a vibrant and energetic group dance rooted in Palestinian heritage.
What started as small workshops in Berlin quickly grew into a thriving community all around Europe. From open-air sessions in city parks to structured training programs and festival performances, Yalladabka has welcomed people from all walks of life, proving that dance is a universal language. Even during the pandemic, we found new ways to keep the spirit alive, hosting online workshops and reaching a global audience.

Ihab Al-Laweeh is Palestinian- German Dabke Dancer and Dabke coach. In 2017, he founded YallaDabka Group in Germany, bringing the energy and tradition of Palestinian Dabke to communities across Europe, and Morroco. Through his international and cultural projects, he has offered spaces for young people fostering intercultural dialogue, social initiatives, and youth empowerment.
With over nine years of experience, Al-Laweeh has developed deep expertise in teaching and training dancers of all levels, using inclusive and engaging methods. Ihab uses Dabke as a tool for social inclusion and solidarity, building connections across cultures. Known for his approachable teaching style, he offers an authentic Dabke experience, blending tradition with community engagement.

He participated in the founding of Yalla Dabka. He was born in a village where dabke was the only expression of joy.
Together with Ihab, he realized that dabke conveys a message of love and peace through the hand in hand, transferring love through the dance. He sought to deliver this message to European society.
Middle Eastern Studies | Dabke coach
Sara is a Manager at a Refugee Reception Center and a dancer specializing in folkloric styles. With a Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies and roots in both Albanian and Italian cultures, she explores themes of identity and cultural exchange through movement.
Her journey with Dabke began in adolescence and culminated in 2022 during her stay in Palestine, where she immersed herself in Palestinian culture and trained in Dabke. Since then, she has been offering Dabke workshops and courses in Hamburg, fostering awareness of the cultural connections among Mediterranean traditions.
Digital Communications Expert | Dabke coach
Wardeh Daibes is a Palestinian dancer and Dabke coach with a deep passion for both dance and cultural heritage. She spent six years performing as a Dabke and contemporary dancer and has been coaching Dabke and performed Dabke shows for two consecutive years.
Driven by her love for dance and her commitment to social inclusion, Wardeh has worked to create welcoming communities through Dabke wherever she goes in Italy.
