The Yarmouk Private University, in collaboration with the National Union of Syrian Students at Yarmouk Private University, organized the virtual MIT Arab Conference 2020 on November 14-15, with global participation from institutions like MIT, Harvard, Arizona, and Stanford. Yarmouk had the opportunity to host and broadcast the conference in Syria for the first time. The conference, themed "Building Resilient Societies: Improving Healthcare and Emergency Response in the Middle East and North Africa," featured prominent speakers from companies such as Google and Microsoft. Syrian projects, including Future Laby and Niuversity, were showcased in the Startup Demo Day and Expo-Innovation Showcase. Notably, Yarmouk students presented projects related to rain estimation using satellite imagery and a self-driving system employing deep learning. The university is proud of its organizing team and aims to support and develop its students in the future. 

An MS Dynamics 365 workshop provides training on Microsoft's integrated CRM and ERP suite. It covers using, customizing, and optimizing Dynamics 365 for business processes. Participants gain hands-on experience to leverage these features for organizational success.

A British Parliamentary-style debating course trains participants in the format and rules of this debate style. Teams of two argue for or against a motion, employing wit, logic, and strategy in a structured and competitive manner. Participants enhance skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and effective argumentation.

In the presence of experts in the field of cybersecurity and the Internet of Things (IoT) from the Indian Center for Advanced Computing, Alhamdulillah, despite all circumstances, we achieved a new accomplishment through a rapid workshop on IoT. The workshop was conducted by the Syrian-Indian Center of Excellence in IT (ISCEIT)
