My practice explores the interplay between structure and spontaneity. I’m particularly drawn to the meditative rhythm of the wheel and the subtle surprises that emerge through texture and mark-making. I work primarily in porcelain, making wheel thrown pieces that reflect water, flow, and erosion.

I use carving tools to create a dialogue between the surface, tool and movement, and demonstrate how the form responds to the tool.
