Welcome to my homepage!
I am a lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Economics at the University of Haifa, located on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. My main research fields are Urban Economics, Applied Microeconomics and Political Economy.
My recent study on the effect of minorities on house prices has been published in the Journal of Urban Economics. I have also published studies in the Economic Journal, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management. My research has been supported by several competitive grants, including from the Alrov Institute for Real Estate Research (2025-26), the Maurice Falk Institute for Economic Research (2015-16, 2019-2020) and the Pinhas Sapir Economic Policy Forum (2014-15).
I received my PhD from the Hebrew University in 2018. In 2018-2019 I was a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard University, and a Visiting Research Scholar at the National Bureau of Economic Research. From 2019 to 2021, I held a postdoctoral fellowship at Tel Aviv University.
In support of my academic training, I have been awarded several fellowships, including from Tel Aviv University Center for Combating Pandemics (2020-2021), Alrov Institute for Real Estate Research (2019-2021), Fulbright (2018-19), Hans Guth Dreyfus Fund (2017-18) and President's Doctoral Fellowship for Outstanding Ph.D. students at the Hebrew University (2014-18).
