For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
So what makes you think you're so far gone?
What makes you think that you're filthy or beyond redemption?
Daniel killed a man and stole his wife, yet God called him a man after his own heart!
Paul persecuted the gospel, yet God used him as a minister to the gentiles
Moses killed a man! Yet God used him as a deliverer to the people of Israel
Rahab was a prostitute, Yet she was instrumental in protecting the Israel spies
All have sinned! Not just you!
All have come short of the glory of God! Not just you!
The question is yes all have sinned, but what do we about it?
The work of Jesus on the cross far supersedes any offense or sin you might have committed
Turn to HIM in repentance, because while we were yet sinners HE died for us!
He himself bore your sins in His own body on the cross! - 1st Pet 2:24
The redemptive work of salvation far outweighs any form of condemnation.
The work of salvation is far greater than any sin! Or any offense!
So with this in mind, boldly approach the throne of mercy, remembering that Jesus loves you so much that he laid his life for YOU!
He chose to make the ultimate sacrifice for YOU!
He did all this for YOU! YOU! YOU!
Take out a brief minute to reflect on this, and open your heart to JESUS! He loves you. Just take the first step, and He'll lead you the rest of the way.
This is the first step:
Lord Jesus, I believe you died to set me free, I believe that you died to set me free from the curse of sin, I believe that you are the son of God, I repent from my sins and confess you as my Lord and saviour.
