YAA cannot run without the students who make it up. We pride ourselves on having an open door to all forms of creativity, and each of our students contribute to this in their own unique way. For this, we are thankful. Here you will see each member's work showcased, along with a bit of information about them. If we are lucky, this website will serve as a memorial to all who pass through our club in the years to come long after we are gone.

Tillie L. takes photos sometimes and sometimes is proud of them. She spends most of her time doing schoolwork and worrying about the future, but in her free time she enjoys reading about Roman history and petting her dogs, Kevin and Stevie. Tillie finds inspiration in the works of Alfred Stieglitz and Bob Mazzer as well as the designs of Maya Lin and Joseph MĂĽller-Brockmann.
Arden is a junior (Class of 2020, babey!) and professional hot mess. Her work often includes dark & complex topics, including mental health, sexuality, unrequited love, existential fear, and--of course--death. (Don't worry, she's trying to branch out.) When not writing long-winded prose, short gushy poetry, or fanfiction about whatever fictional character(s) has her attention this week, she can be found drinking water, petting dogs at the local park, and listening to the same four playlists over and over. She has no criminal record...yet.
Amelia S. is a Freelance Photographer and Videographer. She holds internships with Filmmaker Lisa Marie Evans for the documentary legacies of lesbian literature. She has studied with Diana Stabulniece at Fat Village Art School. She currently works with Open Mouth Reading Series to prompt youth and adult literacy. Amelia has worked with UATV (University of Arkansas television.) Her work challenges human anatomy, sexuality, gender, womanhood, immigration, and the boundaries of color.
