We have 2-3 graduate studentships and 1-2 PhD studentships available each year. Our lab provides students with the interdisciplinary experience in the areas of environmental engineering and applied sciences.
Examples of projects available to new Masters or PhD students include:
- Understanding mechanisms of nanoparticle toxicity at the molecular and whole organism levels
- Identifying the dynamic surface forces between bubbles and microbes and bioaggregrations
- Developing the instrument and control strategy for stabilization of anaerobic digestion
- Exploring the biofilms and biodegradation of microplastics in freshwater and marine systems
