I have been an Assistant Professor of Finance (tenured in 2025) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Candidate Fellow at Tinbergen Institute since 2020. I received a Ph.D. in Finance from Cass Business School (now Bayes), University of London and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the LSE.Â

My research mainly focuses on corporate finance and corporate governance, as well as their intersections with labor, environmental sustainability, and political economy. My work has been accepted in leading journals, including the Journal of Finance.
