I have been an Assistant Professor of Finance (tenured in 2025) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2020. I am also a Research Fellow at Tinbergen Institute. I hold a Ph.D. in Finance from Cass (now Bayes) Business School, University of London, and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics.Â

My research mainly focuses on corporate finance and its intersections with labor, sustainability, and other fields of economics. My work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Finance.
