"how might we foster a culture of peace within European youngsters"

31st of March, from 9:00 to 18:30h, in Aalto Design Factory.

HACKATHON GENERAL INTRO:

Due to the intolerance, racism and the violent movements are rising mainly in European countries, instead of solidarity, empathy and diversity: How can we, as an international civil society, businesses, public and private institutions, help fight this type of actitudes and create something tangible to solve it?

DESCRIPTION:

A hackathon is a methodology by which interdisciplinary teams will work throughout the day trying to solve the rest raised, generating tangible solutions to it. For this to happen, there will be a team of facilitators who will guide the teams through the different phases of the process, using People-Centered Innovation (or Design Thinking) tools. Before they start working on the teams, there will be some initial inspirational talks.
