Overview
Daycharge is a personal energy and activity tracking application developed by Xyntera Labs. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains clearly what data the app collects, how it is stored, and how it is used. We are committed to full transparency — there are no hidden data practices.
Data We Collect
Daycharge collects only the data you directly enter into the app:
Activity logs (name, type, energy impact, category, timestamp)
Daily check-in entries (check-in level and date)
App preferences (dark mode, reminder settings, onboarding status)
Custom quick-log presets and user-defined categories
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, financial information, or any other personal identifiers.
Where Your Data Is Stored
All data is stored exclusively on your device using local on-device storage. No data is uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party system. Your data never leaves your device.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party under any circumstances. Daycharge has no backend server, no analytics SDK, no advertising network, and no third-party data processing integrations.
Notifications
If you enable the Daily Reminder feature, the app requests permission to send local notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are used solely to remind you to log your daily activities. No notification content or interaction data is transmitted externally. You can disable reminders at any time from the Settings screen.
Internet Access
Daycharge does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests. The app works fully offline at all times.
Device Permissions
The only permission Daycharge requests is:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to send daily reminder notifications on Android 13 and above
This permission is optional. The app functions fully without it. No other permissions such as camera, microphone, location, storage, or contacts are requested.
Data Deletion
You have full control over your data at all times. You can reset all app data at any time from the Settings screen inside the app. Alternatively, uninstalling the app from your device will permanently remove all data stored by Daycharge. There is no account or server-side data to delete.
Children's Privacy
Daycharge does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require registration and stores no personally identifiable information, making it safe for general audiences.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated in the future, the new version will be published on this page and included in an app update. The Last updated date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
