XYCircle ("we", "us", or "our") operates the XYCircle mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
Name / Display Name

Phone number (for authentication)
Profile pictures (Face photo validation)
Seller Data: If you are a Seller, we collect your Store Name, Store Location, Business Images, and Offer details.
B. Technical & Usage Logs
We automatically collect standard usage logs (e.g., app performance, improvements, security checks) to ensure the App runs smoothly.
C. Location Data
We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so. We use this data to provide features of our Service, such as identifying nearby users and stores, and to improve and customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time, through your device settings.
2. Mutual Privacy Controls (Reciprocity)
We offer specific "fair share" controls that allow you to manage your visibility to others. These controls operate on a mutual basis:
A. Background Location Toggle
Enabled (YES): You consent to share your background location. You will be visible to other users, and in return, you can view other users' locations, distances, and access full map features.
Disabled (NO): Your real-time location is hidden from others. Consequently, you will not be able to see other users' locations or distances, and you will not have access to map-based features.
B. Profile Picture Visibility Toggle
Enabled (YES): Your profile picture is clearly visible to other users.
Disabled (NO): Your profile picture is blurred to other users. In turn, all other users' profile pictures will appear blurred to you.
3. Seller Data Visibility
Public Stores: Seller profiles and Store locations are Public by default to help users find your business.
Offers: Any offers you post are public to nearby users.
4. How We Use Your Data
XYCircle uses the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain the Service
To notify you about changes to our Service
To facilitate Friend Requests, Chat, and Seller interactions
To provide customer support
To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
To monitor the usage of the Service
To verify your identity (e.g., photo verification for safety)
5. Advertising
We may use third-party service providers (such as Google AdMob) to show advertisements to you to help support and maintain our Service. These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your online activities over time to provide you with relevant advertising.
6. Retention of Data
We retain your Personal Data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data (including profile, location, and chats) is instantly and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not retain any data after account deletion.
7. Zero External Sharing Policy (Strict)
We DO NOT sell, trade, or transfer your Personal Data to outside parties.
Internal Usage Only: All user data is strictly used within the App to provide the functionality you requested.
No External Processing: We do not move your data to external servers for third-party analysis, marketing, or tracking unrelated to the App's core function.
8. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws to:

Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").

10. User Consent & Automated Deletion
Consent-Based: Every feature handling your data operates strictly on your explicit consent (e.g., Location, Photos). You have full control to toggle these permissions ON or OFF at any moment.
Account Deletion (Fully Automated): You have the absolute right to delete your account. We provide a fully automated in-app option to permanently delete your account and all associated data instantly. No questions asked, no manual delays.
11. Age Restriction (20+)
Our Service is exclusively for users aged 20 and above. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 20. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that a person under 20 has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "effective date" at the top.
