I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Science at the Miami Herbert Business School, University of Miami. Before joining Miami, I was an Assistant Professor in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida from 2019 to 2023. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from Columbia University, advised by Professor Ward Whitt.
My research develops models and algorithms for stochastic systems in service operations and revenue management, with a focus on dynamic resource allocation, pricing, and decision-making under model and informational uncertainty. A recurring theme of my work is the design of simple, implementable policies with provable performance guarantees, often in large-scale or asymptotic regimes. I study problems arising in call center operations, smart manufacturing, and energy systems. My current projects extend these themes to dynamic assortment and pricing with reusable resources, joint learning and pricing in service systems, dynamic moral hazard, and information design in queues.
I have received the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Mentorship Recognition from the University of Miami. Earlier in my career, I was a finalist for the INFORMS Finance Section Best Student Paper Competition and received a Travel Award from the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications.
