I am a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Management Science at the Miami Herbert Business School, University of Miami. Before joining Miami, I was an Assistant Professor in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida from 2019 to 2023. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from Columbia University, where I was advised by Professor Ward Whitt.
My research develops models and algorithms for stochastic systems in service operations and revenue management, with a focus on resource allocation, pricing, and decision-making under stochastic and/or model uncertainty. A recurring theme of my work is the design of simple, implementable policies with provable performance guarantees, often in large-scale or asymptotic regimes. My work is motivated by applications in call center operations, smart manufacturing, and energy systems. My current projects study assortment and pricing with reusable resources, joint learning and pricing in service systems, dynamic moral hazard, and information design in queues.
My research and mentorship have been recognized with the Emerging Scholar Award and the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Mentorship Recognition from the Miami Herbert Business School. Earlier in my career, I was a finalist for the INFORMS Finance Section Best Student Paper Competition.
