Hi! I'm Xuehua, an HCI researcher, and an enthusiast in the interplay of art, science, technology, and design. My specialization is in the intersection of interactive media technology, multi-sensory perception, visualization, and sound and music computing. I'm deeply curious about the interactive dynamics between humans and computers, and the connection between our physical world and the digital realm.
My current research interest lies at creating innovative technologies that exploit art as a tool for aesthetic expression, emotion communication, mental well-being, and social connection. I'm excited about making systems that provide personalized user experiences. I'm also interested in studying the ethical and philosophical aspects of human-computer interaction and practice them through design.
My previous works spans voice synthesis, data visualization, music visualization, procedural modeling, soundscape studies, and interative multimodel systems. Check them out in my portfolio
