ALL RACERS WILL REQUIRE AN XWR MEMBERSHIP.  TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIPS CAN ALSO BE PURCHASED FOR SINGLE DAY RACING.  FORMS CAN BE FOUND ON OUR FORMS PAGE.  RACERS WISHING TO RACE WITH EXCA CAN ALSO BUY THE EXCA THROUGH THE CLUB.  YOU WILL RECEIVE A DISCOUNT ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEE IF YOU SUBMIT YOUR FORM THROUGH AN EXCA AFFILIATED CLUB.  PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. 

** NEW DIVISION FOR XWR MEMBERS **

GREEN NOVICE ~ 

Green Novice is for riders that: 

•have not competed in any equine discipline under saddle 

•have very little confidence astride a horse 

•are just starting or have not yet developed the basic riding skills such as loping, backing and gaining body control of their horse. 

Riders in the XWR Green Novice Division do not require an EXCA membership. 

There is no age limit of the rider in the Green Novice, although riders 6 & under must have a helper in the arena, NOT lead line.  

There is no time limit of which riders can enter the Green Novice division.  Riders will be assessed and moved out by the XWR Rider Assessment Committee at which time they can enter the Novice division. 

Riders in the Green Novice may not ride up into other divisions. 

The Green Novice Division will have an obstacle rating of 1-2, and 8 obstacles.

The Green Novice will run prior to the start of the EXCA Sanctioned Race.
