XRehab 2026 seeks various types of papers (up to 8 pages, including references), which include:
Position Papers that identify and share insightful opinions and ideas;
Research Papers that contribute state-of-the-art advances and provide results as evidence, which can include XR applications and systems;
Survey Papers that capture the current state of research and present potential research gaps and future directions.
A range of topics, which embrace different disciplines and perspectives, are invited to contribute to XRehab, including, but not restricted to:
XR applications for physical rehabilitation;
XR for cognitive and neurological rehabilitation;
Physiological and biomechanical in XR environments;
Integration of XR with wearable and assistive technologies;
AI and machine learning for XR-driven rehabilitation;
Adaptive and personalized XR rehabilitation systems;
Human factors and ergonomics in XR rehabilitation;
XR for telerehabilitation and remote monitoring;
Clinical validation and evidence-based XR interventions;
Ethical considerations and safety in XR rehabilitation.
All papers must be original, written in English, and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Workshop papers will be published in ISMAR 2026 adjunct proceedings and IEEE Xplore (Accepted papers should be formatted using the IEEE Computer Society VGTC format and will be subject to the registration and publication processing policy of ISMAR 2026).

All submissions will be reviewed by the workshop organizers and other external reviewers (single-blind review–please make your submission including the author's information).
