Web Page Content: We temporarily access content on the web page you're currently viewing, but only when you explicitly activate the extension. This is necessary to identify HTML elements and generate XPath selectors.

Local Storage: XPath Forte stores your preferences and recently generated XPaths locally in your browser. This information never leaves your device and is used solely to improve your experience with the extension.

How We Use Information

The temporary access to web page content is used exclusively to:

• Highlight elements as you hover over them

• Generate XPath patterns for your selected elements

• Display the results in the extension panel

Third-Party Services

XPath Forte operates independently and does not use any third-party services, analytics, or APIs. All processing is done locally within your browser.

Data Security

Since we don't collect or transmit data, there is no risk of your information being compromised through our extension. Your generated XPaths and preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage APIs.
