These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, services, and communication channels. By engaging XP Decking for any services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
XP Decking provides custom deck design, construction, repair, and related services to residential properties in Newmarket and surrounding Ontario communities. All services will be described in written estimates or contracts prior to the start of work.
All pricing and timelines are based on the scope discussed during the consultation. Final details will be provided in a formal quote or agreement. Any additions or changes may affect cost and duration.
Estimates are valid for 30 days.
Work begins once a signed agreement and deposit are received.
A deposit (usually 30-50%) is required before work begins.
Remaining balance is due upon completion, unless otherwise specified.
Late payments may incur interest fees.
Accepted payment methods: e-Transfer, cheque, or bank deposit.
You agree to:
Provide clear access to the job site
Remove personal belongings or furniture from the work area
Obtain permission from neighbours if required for access or boundary concerns
Notify XP Decking of any underground utilities or site issues
XP Decking strives to meet project timelines but weather conditions, permit approvals, and material availability can impact schedules. We will communicate any delays promptly and adjust timelines accordingly.
We provide a limited warranty on workmanship, typically 1 year unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties apply for decking materials. Warranty may be void if the deck is altered or improperly maintained.
Project cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be partially refundable depending on timing and material orders. Custom materials or services already rendered may be non-refundable.
Any personal information shared with XP Decking (via form, call, or email) is used strictly for project communication and quoting. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
XP Decking is not liable for indirect damages, landscaping disruption, delays caused by third parties, or site conditions beyond our control.
XP Decking may update these terms periodically. Clients will be notified of major changes that affect ongoing or future projects.
