Workshop Vision
The International Workshop on Ops-Related Engineering for Software Architecture (xOps) at ICSA 2026 provides a forum for researchers, practitioners, and software architects to exchange experiences and results. Unlike prior workshops that focus on specific practices such as DevOps or MLOps, this workshop emphasizes the architectural perspective across the full spectrum of xOps. We welcome technical papers, position papers, industry case studies, and vision papers addressing the interplay of xOps and software architecture. Through paper presentations, breakout sessions, and a panel discussion, the workshop positions xOps as a catalyst for architectural change, steering the field toward agentic systems through emerging paradigms such as xLMOps and Agentic-Ops.
