We moved here in October of 2022 from Point Venture Texas. That's up on Travis lake just north of Austin. We had been Texans for most of our lives but the heat, traffic and just life congestion was getting to us. I accidently stumbled onto Bella Vista by accident. I was looking foe a street in Canyon Lake Texas and this place called Bella
Vista Arkansas popped up first on my search. Well, as any self respecting Texan would say " I'm not going to Arkansas".  Just as I was about to scroll on I saw that it was rated as a top 10 retirement place in the country. That spurred my interest on. I did not tell Rosie but I started to investigate this place and found out that it seemed quite magical. I told Rosie, "we are going on a vacation, which excited her until I said it was to Arkansas". Her only real experience with Arkansas had banjo's playing in the background. But she went along with my wild idea and we spent 10 days in what I would come to call the the NW Triangle or now XNALife. Fayetteville to Eureka Springs back to Bella Vista. We stayed only in AirBnBs so that we could get the real flavor of the place. I literally walked up to everyone and ask what do you think of Bella Vista and NW Arkansas in general? I got nothing but "Moving here was the best decision of my life". It took a little convincing for Rosie but with a lot of hard work we sold out in Texas and got to Bella Vista. If you know Rosie and there is a good chance that you do because she is a member of the Wishing Springs and AnA art Galleries. A member of the Southern Strings Dulcimer music group, part of a national hiking group, a member of the PEO women's organization and more things than I can shake a stick at. Me, well I still get to play guitar. I was in a rock band back in Austin. Now I do house concerts parties with the wonderful pianist LeRoy DuBois from Kansas. Which will be another featured story on XNALife. I also provide the background guitar instrument music for the AnA Fine art gallery Art on the Bricks down in Rogers every month.
