The borzoi (บอร์ซอย) (also known as the Russian dog, Laika, or the 'Luna' dog) was a breed of small-sized short-haired domestic sheepdog that was developed by Russian scientists in the 1950s and 1960s. It is thought to have been originally bred from Caucasian shepherd dogs also used in Russia at that time. The breed has a long history of being used for hunting, herding and guarding livestock.

The borzoi dog(บอร์ซอย) is the breed of dog that has a long wavy coat, usually white. It’s one of the few working breeds in Russia and Europe.

The first borzoi dog(บอร์ซอย) was bred in 1869 by Russian master hunter Joseph Borzov. The first registered breeding was done in about 1896 by coachman Gennady Belyakov. In the early 1900s, dogs were taken to national exhibitions with their handlers who served as judges. The breed became popular around the world during World War II when it was used for hunting poachers. No one knows why they stopped being used for hunting, but they are still kept as pets today in Russia and some other countries including Ukraine and Belarus with more than 20 million registered dogs worldwide.[1]

This argument is based on the fact that children would not learn much from dogs, but this does not apply to borzois which are very intelligent and trainable.

Some people have also argued that raising borzois(บอร์ซอย) as pets may harm their health since they tend to bite other animals. This may be true if the owners of such animals do so for fun, but there is no evidence that raising them for this purpose will harm them in any way.

The main question here is whether it’s better to raise dogs as pets or raise them to be more like cats and become trained companions instead of slaves and food sources.

With the increasing popularity of raising borzoi dogs(บอร์ซอย), we need to think about how to improve their image.
