Xmind Mind Mapping ((EXCLUSIVE))

I've been a Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor for several years. (one of the few TBLIs in the USA). I've used Mind Manager, Mind Genius, iMindMap, Mindomo, MindMasterand others, but Xmind is BY FAR my favorite and my 'go to' mind mapping software. It's simple but powerful. The BEST feature is that Xmind works similarly on Android as it does on MS Windows. Of all of the MindMapping software that I use, I recommend Xmind to my students and clients more than any other program. Keep up the good work!!

made it super easy to use the mindmap as a fullscreen presentation tool. As a speaker, it helped stay focused on topic under discussion and not get lost with lots of context switching and scope creep. I think I will try it more

This software has changed my business and my life! The first step in creating my new business was born because my coach suggested using Xmind. In doing my first map I realized that what I had been doing in my 30 year career had value for others and it showed me a path to using it that I had never realized was there. I have since created multiple programs, teach others and have a platform for reaching thousands in my target market. It all started from one mind map! I was not convinced about mindmapping representation before I discover XMind. Now, 99% of my work of Microsoft Visio has been migrated to XMind and my headhaches have disappeared. Thank you for your product that have upgraded the quality of my work (creation of training supports and videos)

Xmind has been part of my super powers for awhile now. What a tool! I use it in so many ways. Recently I did a fish one chart (cause and effect) and then turned it into a action-aspiration diagram. Wow.

Xmind supports mind maps, logic charts, brace maps, organization charts, tree structure, timelines, fishbone diagrams, tree tables, and matrix. Normally, it is used by businesses and students for knowledge management, learning aid, meeting minutes, presentations, etc. The application offers various modes for distraction-free entry and smooth workflow. It is currently available on all platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS/iPadOS, Android, and Web.

An Xmind workbook may contain more than one sheet, as in spreadsheet software. Each sheet may contain multiple topics, including one central topic, multiple main topics and multiple floating topics. Various structures can be inserted in one mind map, allowing the mind map to visualize information in different ways.

The latest .xmind file format implementing Xmind Workbooks consists of a ZIP compressed archive containing an JSON document for contents, a .png image file for thumbnails, and some directories for attachments. The file format is open and based on some principles of OpenDocument/OfficeOpenXML.

I prefer to have a plugin similar to excalidraw developed by @zsviczian . So that I can both edit and embed xmind files within my obsidian vault without going outside. Anyway for now at least I am in need of the functionality of embedding my existing .xmind files. It would be a great help if someone could help me in this. And I think this will be helpful for many users.

This is a great solution. I will consider using this for any simple mindmap. But xmind has some extra features such as floating Topic, Different types of Tree Diagrams and Styles. Can customize the look and feel to highlight important stuffs. And also can fold the nodes when not required to see it fully. So I like to have something for xmind.

you can do this very esily.Select the node you want to link to another mindmap.press Ctrl+h or click on the Globe button on your toolbar or go to

>Modify>HyperlinkA dialogue window will open. click on the "File" option on the left

collumn.Click on "choose a file" and navigate to your file.Select if you want to have an absolute or a relative link. I usually

I think it should strongly be considered: where tags could be viewed as nodes w/in a "mind map." I think Evernote is ignoring the ever so massive film industry. I'm currently writing a TV show in EN b/c the structure of the software is so perfect for building out many scenes and characters that can be puzzled together as they come to life.

I just wish for the day when my notes will structure dialogue, action, and slug-lines for me. And when I struggle with the season 2 finale I can flick my tags to mind map view, see the big picture, then flick back and write a well constructed episode that encompasses the entirety of the series.

There are several types of way to use ConceptDraw MindMap and Evernote. The "Add Document" setting sends to Evernote an image of the mind map, the text from the mind map in outline format, and the file itself. That way you have complete access to information. Of course you can then share your map content with others.

Hi - welcome to the forums. I raised this ages ago - I've been a long-time advocate of mind -mapping and use it for anything new or complicated. Evernote's database and search functions are two aspects of a potentially killer MM app - all you need is the GUI. However while the Powers that Be have discussed the topic we don't know if there's any planned development. And Evernote typically don't share or discuss future plans. Thanks for raising it again though.

You can of course attach your mindmap files to notes in their native format, and as OCR-able pictures to help with the management of a large library of files. But beware that maps which have sub-maps don't like being stored anywhere but on your hard drive. You'd lose the link. Single files just open in the app when clicked and save back to the note when closed, like any other files created with proprietary software.

So I am looking for a mindmap app where I can save the mindmap file in an Evernote note, and then open the file on my Mac or iPhone and edit the mind map, and then when I click save the changes are saved in the file in Evernote.

What are the mindmapping tools people are using to integrate with Evernote? I've been testing Mindomo, XMind, and Curio (Mac only). I'm looking for something where, at a minimum, I can either link to a web-based map or easily open a mindmap in Evernote to edit. I use mindmaps a lot to brainstorm new project ideas, and I use Evernote for my GTD and my general "hub" application. Thanks!

I've tried a bunch of mindmapping tools such MindManager, FreeMind, etc and now I use Mindomo on my MacBook and Android phone. I rate it highly. There is also an iOS app. I just tried saving, opening and saving from Evernote and it worked fine. ff782bc1db
